Worksop: Bus station gets a step closer
Bassetlaw Council’s cabinet is set to approve plans to lease land to Notts County Council, as well as contributing to its running costs, when it meets on Tuesday.
The new bus station will have eight bays, plus one lay-over bay, which will cater for existing demand and also allow for future growth.

“Since then we have been working closely with bus operator Stagecoach and Bassetlaw Council on its development.”
“The new bus station is on track for work to begin next year for opening in spring 2015 and, at a time of severe financial constraints, the county council is providing £3million to make sure that it goes ahead.”
“I believe the new bus station will help stimulate the economy of Worksop and give the people of the town a facility that they can be really proud of.”
