Battling through the driving rain for charity
Mick Williamson, from Maltby, and five colleagues from Willmott Dixon’s repairs and maintenance specialist Willmott Dixon Partnerships, camped for three nights in the Lake District and walked 41 miles conditions.
The challenge took place in aid of Dekamile, which is helping provide clean water, sanitation and improved infrastructure in Agome-sevah, a remote village on the border between Togo and Benin. The team also wanted to use the challenge to highlight the distance that women in less developed countries are forced to walk for medical assistance.

The volunteers faced all sorts of obstacles from craggy moorland to many streams, stiles and even adders.
