Captain Helen hosts a memorable event
Lady Captain Helen Grinham organised a great day for her ladies, which was enjoyed by a good turnout.
The winner of the main event in the morning was Geraldine Johnson with a fantastic score of 39 points.

Hide AdHillary Tuhey was second (35) with Bridget Holmes third (35) and Tilly Lawrence fourth (34).
Nearest the pin on the 18th was Ishu Sen, and the longest drive on the ninth was Lynn Patrick.
The afternoon saw a waltz over nine holes, won by Sue Would, Aileen Sellers and Angela Drayton with 42 points.
Jane Salt, Rosemarie Lawton and Linda Dobby were second (37) and third were Helen Wilson, Lesley Brewis and Hillary Tuhey.

Hide AdA putting competition was also staged, Tilly Lawrence winning with 24 putts.
Earlier this month the ladies battled really wet conditions for the Ping Competition and qualifier.
With an amazing score of 40 points, Ruth Anyan and Gill Fussey won with Lynn Patrick and Rosemarie Lawton in second with 35 points.
In third were Lady Captain Helen Grinham and Lady Vice-Captain Sheilah Mitchell.
