BREAKING: Boston to get £21.9m Town Deal funding from Budget
Although it did not get the full amount it applied for, the district will be getting £21.9m Town Deal funding.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the funding as part of a £200m overall package for towns in the East Midlands which also included Skegness and Mablethorpe.

Hide AdA Treasury spokesperson said the funding would support “long-term economic and social regeneration as well as their immediate recovery from the impacts of COVID-19” for the towns.
They said that the Boston money would be aimed at contributing to contribute to “creating sustainable economic growth and increasing the connectivity between communities – helping to improve the jobs on offer to residents”.
Mr Sunak said: “My budget this year includes substantial investment across the East Midlands in the communities that need it most.”
