People planning to meet up at Market Rasen’s Willingham Woods this weekend are being asked to be respectful of the local area and residents, as well as respecting social distancing and COVID guidelines.

Police have been made aware of the car meeting this Saturday, August 22, and have said it appears more than 100 vehicles will be travelling to the area to take part.

PCSO Neal Harrison said: “Previous events such as this have seen numerous complaints of ASB – vehicles racing, displaying on the highway, parking causing obstructions, excessive noise, and breaching social distancing/COVID 19 guidelines.

“Officers will be in the area to facilitate and engage, but will enforce where necessary.”
