Chris Beasley, the owner of the Old Coach House Antiques Centre in Aswell Street, Louth, welcomed a television crew from the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip Crew last week, for the filming of a new episode which will be broadcast next year.

Following the crew’s visit last Thursday (September 10), Mr Beasley told the Leader: “Their expert was Tim Medhurst, who is now featuring a lot on their antique programmes. We closed the centre for the morning while they filmed and the programme will be screened some time next year.”

Chris said it was a ‘great experience’, and added: “Tim spoke highly about the centre and some of the high quality antiques.

“He couldn’t believe how large the centre was.”

The BBC show previously visited Louth in October 2018, when they filmed an auction at John Taylors Auction Room.
