College tackles bullying
Pupils at Worksop College have been learning how to recognise and prevent bullying and cyber-bullying this week.
On Monday the sixth form prefects showed how menacing cyber-bullying is by dressing in faceless masks.
A large anti-bullying banner has been in the Great Hall all week and thought-provoking posters put up around the school. And on Wednesday the school captains took the whole school assembly, with hard-hitting statistics and stories about bullying.
Deputy assistant head Liz Warner said: “By raising awareness of all forms of bullying and the effect it can have, we hope everyone will understand how important it is to tackle this issue.”
