A focus for reflection and remembrance at Market Rasen School
The Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey, the Ven Mark Steadman, went along to the school to perform the blessing.
The whole school gathered in front of the window, which has been installed at one end of the school hall, for the occasion.

“May it light up our school with the colours that come through it.”
The children worked with members of the Royal British Legion on the design of the window, which symbolises remembrance.
Amongst the poppies is a single daisy, to remember pupil Claudia Burkill, who died in 2014 at the age of 8, following a three-year battle with a rare brain tumour.

Delightful addition
“I give my congratulations to all involved on such a beautiful addition to the school,” said the Ven Steadman.
“It is about the school’s values, which is fantastic.
“It has been a wonderful project that has brought the school and the local community together to create such a unique piece of art.”
