Gainsborough: Funhouse to launch brand new comedy club in the town
Funhouse have twice been named Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle and previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to fame and fortune include Sarah Millican, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall and Rhod Gilbert.
The Maltings launch night will Friday, October 2 and headlining will be Luton’s lapsed choirboy Junior Simpson.

A familiar face for his numerous TV appearances both as an actor and comedian, he also made a guest appearance in the film, Love Actually.
Support comes from Dan Thomas, who has supported Russell Kane on tour and does warm up for Channel 4’s Deal Or No Deal.
This forceful and energetic Welsh funnyman delivers his observational jokes with skill and a rare sense of wistfulness.

Hide AdAlso appearing is the immediately likeable Chris Washington, who uses his northern charm along with his hilarious tales to entertain the crowds.
Compere for the night will be the warm and welcoming Spiky Mike.
The evening starts at 8.30pm with doors open from 7pm.
